🎆 Fireworks are coming! Don’t worry, you haven’t missed a thing! We had a private event over the weekend with fireworks, but that was just a fraction of the show you can expect this coming weekend as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday 🇺🇸

SGCC MEMBERS—wristband presale has ended, but you can get them at the start of the picnic from Emily and Daysi at check-in…remember, we’ve changed some things up this year so make sure to review the Official Guide to the 2026 Indepence Day Picnic

SPRINGFIELD COMMUNITY—We are hosting our annual fireworks display on Friday, July 3 at approximately 9 PM (waiting for full dark, so maybe a little later but definitely not earlier!). For those interested in a closer view, we’ve designated a public viewing area along Old Keene Mill Road, accessible at the intersection with Carrleigh Parkway.

Please note, the clubhouse and parking lot are reserved for Members and their guests. We encourage community members using the public viewing area to park in nearby shopping centers. The viewing area will be marked by barriers per the Fairfax County Fire Marshal, and we ask everyone to remain behind them to stay safe.
