Governor Pritzker has raised taxes 50+ times since becoming Governor 7 years ago.

He increased the Budget from $39 Billion to $56 Billion, in this new budget there is $800 million in new taxes. He has increased the gas sales tax to be the 2nd highest in the country, so much so, that there was a $150 million in gas sales tax "surplus" not needed for roads so he moved it to the GRF (General Revenue Fund) to be spent on other things, like "welcome centers" we all know what that money is going towards...

The fact is that the Bears NEVER asked for taxpayer dollars to build a stadium. NFL teams bring in MILLIONS of dollars of revenue, jobs, and economic growth. All of the benefits of an NFL team outweigh the negatives. The Bears simply wanted the state to help make sure they don't pay property taxes (like 27 other NFL stadiums) and to build up the infrastructure (highways, off ramps, etc.) that the state is in charge of.

The Governor LOVES increasing taxes on Illinoisans and Businesses in Illinois. Does he think we are dumb? Please, everyone, do a SIMPLE amount of research and you'll realize this Governor LOVES raising taxes, the Bears weren't asking for tax money to build a stadium.
