Clark County Fair Queen

Today, I had the opportunity to participate in the South Charleston Heritage Days Parade alongside the Clark County 4-H King, 4-H Queen, 4-H princess, and our Junior Sheep Ambassador.

After the parade, I traveled to the Delaware County Fair, where I had the pleasure of meeting their retiring Fair King and Fair Princess. I also got to meet the Clermont County King and Queen.

Another busy week of making memories!

Last Tuesday, I traveled to the Hardin County Fair, where I had the opportunity to watch the crowning of the 2026 Hardin County Fair Queen and King. Congratulations to the new royalty! I also enjoyed getting to talk with the retiring queen about her year.

On Saturday, I had the pleasure of riding in the South Vienna Corn Festival Parade alongside our 4-H Princess and Junior Dairy and Sheep Ambassadors!

Then, on Tuesday, I traveled to the Wyandot County Fair, where I got to meet and talk with their king, watch some harness racing, and enjoy a goat show.

Last night, I had the opportunity to attend the 2026 Highland County Fair Queen & King Contest!

I loved getting to talk with the retiring queen about her year and meet so many members of royalty from different fairs and counties. Congratulations to all of the contestants and newly crowned royalty!

I had such a great time at the Hancock County Fair this year! Since Findlay is the town I get to call another home during the school year, it was so special getting to not only get to see their fair, but it experienced it as well!

On Monday I got to attend their Opening Ceremonies and Royalty Dinner, where I had the opportunity to talk with the retiring queen and hear about her year. I also got to watch the new queen and royalty be crowned and begin their year! Then on Thursday, I got to experience the fair in a different way by exhibiting my own rabbit!

Ever since the Clark County Fair came to an end, I have definitely kept busy!

I’ve had the opportunity to visit so many amazing fairs, including the Greene County, Ohio State Fair, Champaign County, Ross County, Miami County, Mercer County, Henry County, and Allen County!

I have had such an amazing time visiting each of these fairs, meeting so many wonderful people, and getting to know some of their incredible royalty members. It has been so much fun seeing all the hard work and dedication that goes into making each fair so special.

Now that I am officially settled into college, I’m excited to keep you all more updated on the amazing fairs, events, and experiences I’ll be participating in throughout the rest of my year!

Hello everyone! Now that fair is over I wanted to formally introduce myself. My name is Kaylee Smith, and I am so honored to serve as your 2026 Clark County Fair Queen.

I am currently a student at the University of Findlay, where I am studying Animal Science on the pre-veterinary track. Agriculture has been a huge part of my life through 4-H, FFA, and showing livestock.

Thank you all for your overwhelming support and encouragement since being crowned. Every message, kind word, prayer, and congratulatory note has meant the world to me. I am truly grateful for each and every one of you. I also want to say a special thank to all the visiting royalty that I got to meet that took the time to come see the Clark County Fair.

I can’t wait to represent Clark County over the next year, meet so many amazing people, and see where this journey takes me. I’m beyond excited for everything this year has in store!
