Your marriage isn't boring. Your bedroom might just be predictable. 👀
Islam never asked you to choose between being practicing and having a passionate marriage. There's room for desire, playfulness, and love — all within what's halal.
Don't wait for your spouse to make the first move. Flirt. Communicate. Try something new. Let them know when you desire them.
Your spouse isn't a stranger. Talk about what you enjoy, what you don't, and what you'd like more of.
Sometimes you don't need more intimacy... you just need more variety.
Save this for later 🤍
Send it to your husband/wife.
Anger is not the problem.
What you do with it is.
Most people think feeling angry makes them a bad Muslim. It does not. Even the Prophet, peace be upon him, felt grief so deep his heart ached and his eyes wept. But what did he say in that moment? Only what was pleasing to Allah.
That is the standard.
The emotion is not the sin. The behavior is where accountability lives. You can feel the fire inside. That is human. That is Fitra. But what comes out of your mouth, what your hands do, what your face shows, that is where your character is tested.
And most of us are failing that test in our own homes.
With our spouses. With our children. With the people we claim to love most.
The Quran did not tell us to stop feeling. It told us to control what we do with what we feel.
Here is your one action: The next time anger rises, pause before you speak. One breath. One second. Ask yourself, "Would I say this in front of the Prophet?"
That pause is where transformation begins.
Your baby cannot talk yet. But they are already learning whether the world is safe.
This is what most Muslim parents do not know. And it is costing their children decades of emotional struggle.
Attachment theory, developed by John Bowlby, reveals something that should stop every parent in their tracks. The emotional bond between a child and their caregiver begins forming as early as seven to nine months old. Before words. Before memories. Before they can even tell you what they need.
And that bond? It follows them into their marriages. Their friendships. Their relationship with Allah.
We worry about which school they attend. Which Quran teacher they have. Whether they are memorizing their duas.
All of that matters.
But none of it overrides what their nervous system is learning right now in your arms. Or in your absence.
The Prophet, peace be upon him, was known for his tenderness with children. That was not just character. That was wisdom.
Here is your action: today, put the phone down for thirty minutes and give your child nothing but your full, undivided presence. No multitasking. No screens. Just you.
That thirty minutes is building the foundation of who they will become.
Parenting is ibadah. Treat it like one.

Are you a divorced father who feels disconnected from your children?
Maybe you barely see them anymore.
Maybe your relationship isn’t what it used to be.
Maybe you feel like you’re slowly becoming a stranger in their lives.
And while you’re carrying the pain of divorce, separation, or estrangement, you may feel like there’s no one you can really talk to about it.
Fathers Reconnected is a space for Muslim fathers navigating divorce, separation, and strained or estranged relationships with their children.
A place to connect with other fathers who understand.
A place to talk openly about what you’re going through.
And a place to learn how to navigate this difficult season while working toward a healthier relationship with your children.
You may be divorced—but you’re still their father.
🤝 You don’t have to navigate this alone.

Can we be honest for a second?
A lot of married couples feel embarrassed to admit their bedroom routine has gone... predictable. Same time, same night, same everything. And because no one talks about it, couples start to think something's wrong with them, or worse, with their marriage.
It's not.
Here's the truth: excitement doesn't disappear because you fell out of love. It disappears because routine takes over, and nobody was ever taught how to intentionally protect intimacy in a halal marriage.
Somewhere along the way, a lot of us absorbed the idea that "keeping it halal" means keeping it plain. That romance, playfulness, and passion are somehow less spiritual than a quiet, predictable marriage.
That's not what Islam teaches.
The Prophet ﷺ showed us love, affection, and playfulness between spouses. There is space — real, encouraged space — for you and your spouse to enjoy each other.
Wear something they love. Put on a nice scent. Dim the lights. Change the sheets. These aren't small or silly things. They're intentional acts that say: I still choose you, I still see you.
And it's not just physical. Emotional closeness changes everything. Put the phones away. Ask each other, "What makes you feel loved lately?" Talk about your day like you actually want to know the answer. Good communication makes intimacy feel safer, closer, and far more fulfilling.
You don't need anything haram to feel alive in your marriage. You need intention. A little consistency. And the willingness to try again, even after years of routine.
This is exactly what we help couples work through in our Marital Coaching — rebuilding connection with practical tools, without losing sight of Allah at the center of it all.
Save this for your next date night 🤍
Send it to your husband or wife if you're both ready to bring some of that spark back.

Modern therapy just accidentally proved the Prophet, peace be upon him, was right 1,400 years ago.
DBT. One of the most respected emotional regulation techniques in Western psychology. Therapists prescribe it for anger. For emotional overwhelm. For moments when your nervous system is on fire.
The technique? Take cold water. Put it on your face.
Sound familiar?
That is wudu.
The Prophet, peace be upon him, told us to make wudu when we are angry. Science spent decades catching up to what revelation already gave us.
But knowing is only half the battle. The real work happens after you lose it. After you snapped. After you said the thing you cannot take back.
That is where growth actually lives.
Here is your action: the next time you lose control of your emotions, do not just move on. Debrief yourself. Sit down and ask — what triggered me, what did I do, and what could I have done instead? Write it down. The brain learns through reflection, not just regret.
Your deen already gave you the tools. Now it is time to use them.
Wudu is not just ritual. It is regulation.

Let's be real — when people find out we charge for sessions, the first
question is always: "But aren't you a nonprofit?"
Yes. And here's the thing nobody explains well enough.
Nonprofits still have to pay qualified people. Still have to keep the
lights on. Still have to maintain standards of care that actually help
people.
The difference is what happens with the money after that.
Ours goes back to the community. Free sessions for people who can't
afford it. Workshops. Training for scholars. Support for new Muslims.
Alhamdulillah, over 10,000 sessions across 18 countries since 2021.
Swipe through to see exactly how it works — and drop any questions
you have in the comments. We're an open book.
Muslim men, this one is going to sting.
You are the provider. That is not a suggestion in Islam. It is a responsibility placed on your shoulders by Allah Himself.
But here is what nobody is saying out loud.
A man drowning in credit card debt cannot lead his home. He comes through the door already defeated. Already angry. Already empty. And his wife feels it before he even speaks.
She is not nagging. She is scared.
The bills are stacking. The tension is building. And month after month, the debt grows while the marriage quietly bleeds out.
Here is what most people miss. In Islam, her money is hers. Yours is yours — but with an obligation attached to it. Nafaqah is not optional. The roof, the food, the decent living. That is on you.
So if the foundation is cracked, everything built on top of it will crack too.
Here is your action: sit down this week and write out every debt you carry. No more avoiding the number. Name it. Own it. Then make a plan. A man who faces his financial reality is already leading.
Stability at home starts with honesty about money.
