A buzzbait can require very accurate casts and the blade on the bait can act like a sail that can make it difficult. I have tried ALL kinds of different rods for my buzzbait fishing and started using the Dobyns Rods Kaden 713 C around a year ago. I am really happy with the way this Kaden 713 brings castability, accuracy and power to handle the fish in scary places once the strike occurs‼️

Had a good weekend with Matthew Rogers fishing the Summer Bass Brawl on Stockton Lake. We had 20.30 for first place and 2nd big bass with a 7.02 - big bass was a 7.49‼️

Awesome to see the lake kicking out some big ones as there were four bass weighed in over 7lbs‼️

The DRX 754 was my first impression/introduction to the Xtasy lineup from Dobyns Rods. I am extremely impressed with how light, sensitive, balanced and crisp this rod performs! They are built with high end Fuji components - light weight graphite reel seat and titanium Torzite guides. Due to the sensitivity of this rod, I have had extremely good luck with the 754 when casting a 3/8 to 5/8 ounce jig - you can pick up on the lightest bites! The Big Bite Baits 6” Creature is one of my favorite soft plastic profiles for flipping heavy cover in the summertime! We have a lot of high water lingering here in the Ozarks and the bass have taken FULL advantage of the available habitat.
