Yesterday we took a look into Acts 16 and focused on the heavy topic of persecution. Here’s some key ideas we explored together:

While we don’t really experience persecution in our daily lives, it’s still very real, and is happening all over the world. Christ followers should expect persecution, often coming from doing or saying what’s right. But don’t be discouraged- greater ministry opportunities often come out of a place of persecution, and experiencing suffering can even help us to connect with others and with Jesus, who suffered himself on our behalf.

We had a fantastic time at the Family Skate day!! So glad we had friends to enjoy the rink with. 🛼

Today we remember 9/11 and the lives lost, the heroes who served, and the families forever changed. ❤️ May we never forget, and may we continue to turn to God as our strength and refuge.
