417Youth, we’d love to have you join us next Saturday from 1-5p! The Bright family has put together an amazing event for us, filled with fun water games, food, and friends! If you need a ride or just want to follow someone to their house, meet at Grace Church by 12:15p.

Just a reminder that we’re having ANOTHER Upper Room evening TONIGHT at 7pm! We won’t have childcare available, but we’d still love for some of you to join us in seeking the Lord. See you soon!

Highlights from Acts Session 21! (13:1-12)

-God created us with different backgrounds, cultures, and giftings for a reason. Churches should strive to create leadership teams that reflect diversity- Individual people make up the church!

-No person is our actual enemy regardless of how awful they may speak or act. It’s not about the people themselves, but rather what is driving their motives and actions. No stakes are higher than someone’s redemption!

-Spiritual warfare is a nonphysical form of conflict that is conducted through prayer based on God’s authority wielded by God’s people. We can use this in prayer for things like healing, impossible situations, and changed hearts.

Grace Family, we are EXCITED to share that we have 3 new members this week: Micheal and Kerri Kyle, and Tyler Sartin! If you see them around, take a second to welcome them in with us- we are so glad the Lord has led them here!

We’ve decided to extend our Upper Room nights! We will NOT be able to provide childcare, so plan accordingly. But we’d love for as many as able to join us TOMORROW at 7pm to spend time praying in the Spirit and ministering to others!

First Sunday in construction mode was a success!

This week, we took a look at Acts 12 and focused on prayer, how God moves, and our need of control.

When we pray, oftentimes we want to tell him “how” to make a move, rather than seeking his movement. Or we wonder “why” something hard has happened. We need to embrace the reality that our comprehension of God is limited! Be earnest AND expectant of his movement- don’t dismiss his knocking because it comes in a different package. Stay faithful, and stay expectant of miracles- God is listening, and he will answer in his perfect way!
