Welcome aboard Part 1 of our journey into the legendary history of the RMS Queen Mary! Today, we are heading straight to the heart of her exterior grandeur: The Promenade Deck.
Often called the "Grand Promenade," this iconic space was once the ultimate playground for the rich, famous, and glamorous golden-age travelers who crossed the Atlantic in style.
Fun Fact: Because the Queen Mary served as a WWII troopship (known as the Grey Ghost), parts of this deck were crowded with thousands of servicemen sleeping on triple-tiered bunks instead of leisurely passengers taking evening strolls!
