The second day of fall. 🍂

Seasons have been on my mind a lot lately.

Not just the anticipation of changing leaves and cooler mornings, but the different seasons we find ourselves in throughout life.

Some are busy. Some are quiet. Some feel like a beginning, while others feel like a little bit of letting go.

So, as fall begins, I’m curious:

What makes it feel like fall to you?

The first cool morning? Pulling out a favorite sweater? A certain meal? Football (go Chiefs!) The leaves beginning to change?

For me, with a new season upon us, I think I’m going to lean into reflection with the purpose of building toward the future.

This one all came together before I could even create a post about the new listing. There are real people with real lives in every transaction. Not every transition falls into the celebration category but getting this one under contract is a blessing. Celebrating that for our client!

Today we’re celebrating our buyer—and an investment property that will serve them well for years to come!

This transaction came with a few more obstacles than most—not because of anything anyone did wrong, but simply because some transactions require a little more patience, problem-solving, and persistence. We’re grateful to have helped navigate each one and see this one through.

We’re also celebrating something that means even more to us.

More than a year ago, this buyer toured one of our listings. We didn’t sell them that home, but that first interaction stayed with them. When the time came to make this purchase, they reached back out to us.

Today’s showing activity took me west. I pass this cool old building sometimes, and it always makes me smile.

I love that I get to see new places and spaces in this career. Not to mention the people it brings into my life that I might have otherwise never met.

I’m grateful for all of it. But after 10+ years, I especially appreciate the skill real estate has given me to see the potential. The opportunity. The possibilities.

This is just how my brain works now. 😂 Not every home or purchase needs a vision or a “what could this be?” moment, but that mindset has been such a blessing to me.

Real estate isn’t always about simply finding a property. Sometimes it’s about seeing where “this place” could take you. ✨
