Necrobroth Theatre

Oh come on!? ANOTHER HUMAN IS COMING TO The Monster Mashup - A Halloween Variety Show!? Or wait… is that a deer?

Jordan Duke is known for MEAD (2022), where he had a small role as Achilles F6 pilot Devol. He’s also been an actor, director, producer, writer, and choreographer for multiple stage productions for YMCA of Seymour, Missouri fundraisers. Jordan has also appeared in several Necrobroth productions.

Jordan loves Halloween because it’s the best time to shed that normal skin and become something completely different with the rest of the weirdos like him.

And apparently, this year he’s shedding that skin and wandering somewhere he probably shouldn’t be. Jordan is excited to step out and achieve something he’d consider out of his comfort zone, as he is playing someone who ends up at the wrong party and finds himself surrounded by things that are unusual and unpleasant. But when you live for the party life, responsibilities at home can wait… even when home happens to be the woods.

Come and watch this deer get caught in the Monster Party headlights at The Mashup! Tickets are on sale now! Grab yours today!

The final vampire has emerged from the shadows, and is making their way to The Monster Mashup - A Halloween Variety Show Meet Sean Parker portraying Nosferatu!

Sean is a horror writer and performer who first started writing when he was twelve years old. In school he wrote a short horror story that impressed his teacher so much that she had him read it in front of the class, helping spark his passion for both writing and performing spooky content and concepts.

Sean will be playing many parts throughout the Mashup, including your host, but he is most chuffed to be bringing Nosferatu to life in an original piece of horror satire called “Twiferatu,” complete with delicious dark comedy and incredible monster makeup effects!

Sean is excited that the Monster Mashup brings all manner of ghosts and ghouls together to create a variety of scary and humorous performances. Some will leave the audience disturbed, only to swing the other way with something hilarious, creating a true feeling of variety and intrigue. It also gives performers a chance to showcase their talents and passions through a one of a kind experience you cannot find anywhere else.

Sean loves Halloween because it is a time of year when you can celebrate the dark, mysterious, and unsettling in a way that elicits nostalgia and brings back childhood rituals, while also challenging you with new ways to be afraid in a safe environment.

Another vampire is stepping into the light. The stage light, that is. Meet our next vampire heading to The Monster Mashup - A Halloween Variety Show Howard Jones, portraying Count Indy!

This is not Howard’s first time on the theatre stage. He has previously acted in Home Alone, and in the coming months, he’ll be taking on the role of Prince Charming in Glendale High School’s Cinderella! He’s also no stranger to Necrobroth. This will be his second variety show with the theatre.

For the Mashup, Howard will be playing guitar in the “Blood Brothers” band alongside Count Nocturne. The duo will be performing an original song and a cover that everyone can sing along to.

Howard is excited for the Mashup because he gets to play some of his favorite songs as a vampire alongside a supa chill guy. At least as chill as a vampire can get.

Howard loves Halloween, and fun fact: like a true vampire, Halloween is his birthday! He also thinks the occult themes that come along with the holiday are pretty awesome.

Don’t miss a blood-sucking good time with Count Indy! Tickets are on sale NOW. Grab yours today, this show runs ONE night only! Don’t miss your chance to party with the monsters!

The next vampire heading to the The Monster Mashup - A Halloween Variety Show has been 17 for.. awhile. Meet Edward Cullen played by Ryan Baldwin!

Ryan Baldwin has been acting for over twenty years, and has done a little of everything: drama, comedy, horror, musical, parody, improv, and everything in between. He’s also been just about everyone: victim, villain, background character, narrator, chorus, monster, and more! He will be performing in a couple different pieces this year, portraying a victim in Killing Spree, and some vampire named Edward Cullen in Twiferatu.

Ryan is looking forward to seeing all of the costumes everyone is putting together. There’s some amazing work being done there, and he can’t wait to see the rest!

Ryan loves Halloween because it’s just a fun time. Other holidays don’t have candy and costumes. Maybe those other holidays should step up their game if they want to compete with Halloween!

Don’t miss Edward Cullen when he steps out to sparkle for the Mashup.

A few vampires are crawling out of their coffins this week and making their way to the The Monster Mashup - A Halloween Variety Show. Meet our first one!

For the past year Marshall has been pretty happy staying on the other side of the curtain. He’s helped everywhere he could. You can typically find him back stage or in the tech booth. He’s managed to avoid actually being an actor for most of it. But, he says: “the stage lights will always find you.” Monster Mashup will be his first real time stepping into the acting side of things. Luckily, as Marshall puts it, “I’ve spent years watching some of the best do it before.” Marshall will be featured in a couple of very different parts throughout the evening. He’ll take the stage as a vampiric musician for a couple of songs that range from unsettling to somewhat more familiar. Later, he’ll be investigating some interesting stories involving three characters who have a very unique tale to tell.

Marshall is excited to experience everything come together into something that feels like a real party rather than just a show. There’s been so much thought and care put into creating this world that I think once those doors open, it’s going to feel like such a unique night, the kind that you wish every party would be. Also with it being one night only, there’s that really cool feeling knowing that everyone in the room is experiencing something that will never be replicated. It’s going to be spooky, exciting, weird, funny, and hopefully just the right amount of chaotic.

Marshall loves Halloween because during this time of year, ordinary things start to feel a little suspicious. The air hits different, the nights seem darker, the sound of wind starts to get a bit spookier. In October we all kinda give a pass to logic and for a little while start to believe that there might actually be something strange hiding behind the corner. Halloween feels like the only holiday where we all collectively decide that it’s ok to let our imaginations run wild and see what happens.

After a year behind the curtain, this bloodsucker is finally hitting the stage. Tickets are available NOW! Grab yours today and save your spot at the show.
