ONE. 🥹 How does that first year somehow feel like the longest and shortest year of your life?

First birthday sessions are one of my favorite milestones because your baby is still so little, but suddenly there is SO much personality there. The smiles, the little teeth, the chunky legs, the way they sit and crawl and clap and scrunch their nose—all of those tiny things that feel completely normal right now will change so quickly.

If there’s one year worth making sure you document, that first birthday is a pretty special one.

I mean… could they be any sweeter?! 🥹🤍I adore this family so much.

Also, while I’m sharing a newborn session—if you’re pregnant, it is never too early to reach out! I hear from so many moms who meant to book newborn photos, but pregnancy got busy, baby came, and suddenly those first few weeks were gone. Has that happened to any of you? Did you end up skipping newborn photos because you just never got around to booking them?

I only take 4–6 newborns a month, which gives us time to plan your session, talk through wardrobe and all the little details, and make the whole experience feel fun and easy instead of one more thing to figure out with a brand new baby. 🤍

I think this is what I love most about family sessions.

The little hand on her daddy's face. The way she looks at her mama. The snuggles. The silly. Babies being passed back and forth. Everyone laughing and moving and loving on each other.

Just your family, exactly as they are right now. 🤍
