Freedom is more than escape.

For survivors of trafficking, freedom means safety, dignity, hope, and the opportunity to choose their own future.

Through safe homes, counseling, education, vocational training, and long-term care, survivors can reclaim what should never have been taken.

Because everyone deserves the freedom to build a life of their own.

After two years of prayer, a new chapter has begun.

This week, we welcomed a young boy into one of our safe homes in Asia Pacific.

His arrival is the answer to years of faithful prayer—and to the incredible courage of a mother who chose a different future for her son. Though letting him go was undoubtedly one of the hardest decisions she has ever made, she knew it opened the door to opportunities he otherwise may never have had.

Today, he is safe.

He will have a loving home, access to education, nutritious meals, caring adults who will walk alongside him, and the opportunity to grow into all God created him to be.

Thank you for praying with us over the past two years. Today, we celebrate a new beginning and look forward with great hope for all that lies ahead.

When temperatures climb, a little shade can make a big difference.

At first glance, a new awning at Oasis Coffee might not seem like a significant milestone. But for our team in Europe, it's another way we're creating a welcoming place where relationships can grow.

Located on the edge of the red-light district, Oasis Coffee is much more than a café. It's a place where men and women can step away from exploitation, share a meal, build trust, and encounter a community that genuinely cares for them.

With temperatures reaching 35°C (95°F) this week, the new awning helps make the outdoor seating cooler and more comfortable, creating more opportunities for conversations, community gatherings, and moments of connection.

Sometimes restoration doesn't begin with a dramatic moment. Sometimes it begins with a warm welcome, a shared cup of coffee, and someone who is willing to listen.

You met Binta years ago. Today, she's finally home. 🦋

When we first shared Binta's story, we celebrated her courage as she stepped out of exploitation and began rebuilding her life. Since then, you've prayed for her, encouraged her, and watched her grow.

Today, we're celebrating another milestone.

Binta is the first resident of Project Rescue's new safe home in West Africa—a place created so women can continue their journey toward healing, dignity, and lasting freedom.

One woman has moved in. Many more will follow.

If you've been following Binta's journey, what part of her story has stayed with you most?

When many people think about trafficking, they picture a dramatic scene—a dark alley, an international border, or an obvious criminal operation.

And trafficking happens in those places, but it also starts in ways that are far less visible.

It starts online.
It starts through a seemingly caring relationship.
It starts with someone taking advantage of a person's vulnerabilities, needs, or desire to belong.

Understanding how exploitation happens is one of the first steps toward prevention.

The more we recognize the warning signs, the better equipped we are to protect vulnerable women and children before exploitation takes hold. 🦋

At Project Rescue, restoration and prevention are achieving the same future.

Women who have experienced exploitation are rebuilding their lives with dignity and hope.

Children who are vulnerable to exploitation are receiving the support, education, and opportunities they need to thrive.
