SINGO NIGHT IS BACK!🎶🎟️

Our second annual Singo is Saturday, October 3 at South Haven Baptist Church from 7:00-9:00PM! We will provide a delicious dinner, 6+ rounds of Singo, and incredible prizes!

“Whats Singo?” you might ask. Singo is Bingo, but instead of matching the number to your squares, you match the song to the musical! We will have rounds of all levels, so it’s truly the perfect event for theatre kids, friends, family, & more!

FIRST DRAMA CLUB! 🎭📣

We are so excited for Drama Club to be back this Friday from 3:30-5:00 in the PAC! Meet new friends, your cabinet, and learn about all the exciting things Drama Club has planned! This is open to everyone, no matter your experience level. Just show up ready for a good time!😆

We are so excited to announce our Thescon selections. If you were chosen, you will receive training from our Head of Acting, Charissa Moser! She and Ms. Moore will reach out to you to decide on which rehearsal times work best for everyone. Additionally, they will tell you what piece they would like you to perform, whether that be your audition materials or a different selection. 🎭

If you were not selected, we are so sorry. There was simply so much talent to pick from. However, just because you aren’t competing doesn’t mean you can’t come to Thescon! Mandatory RSVPs will be sent out this Wednesday, which must be filled out by all attendees and competitors. 🚨

We can’t wait to take Missouri by storm with these jaw-dropping events! Congratulations, thespians! 📣

TECH TEAMS!! 🎨

Congratulations to all who made our tech teams! We are so excited to see you this Wednesday from 3:30-5:30 for our first ever Tech Wednesday, lead by our incredible Head of Tech, Lucas Nevels! This is mandatory!! 🚨

If you did not make a team, there are still so many opportunities! You can still gain experience with a team through Drama Clubs! Our first Drama Club will be this Friday, September 18 from 3:30-5:00 in the PAC! 🎭

THESCON & IMPROV AUDITIONS! 💙💛

We are holding auditions this Friday from 3:30-5:30 in the PAC for the following Thescon events: solo acting, duet acting, group acting, solo musical, duet musical, and group musical! Please prepare whatever piece you would like to compete with! You are also welcome to prepare a piece for your second choice event. For example, if you wanted to do solo musical, you can perform a solo piece and then do a duet as your second option. The auditions will be held in front of your theatre cabinet. Sign up for auditions using the link in bio! ⬆️

If the event your are wanting to do is not on this list, you can still do it! Still fill out the form and have a follow up conversation with Ms. Moore. 😁

You are only eligible to audition if you are a sophomore, junior, or senior who is inducted into Thespian Society. If you are yet to be inducted, it’s not too late! Please fill out the induction form on the Kickapoo Theatre website as quickly as possible! ⏰

Additionally, we will be holding improv auditions on September 9 at 4 PM. No sign up in advance is necessary. Be prepared to play a variety of improv games and to make
big acting choices! Auditions are required for both new and returning members. It is important to know that you can NOT be on both tech team and improv team. 🎭

TECH AUDITIONS! 🎨🧵🪚💄

September 9th and 10th we will be holding tech auditions! Each department has a different time and place for their audition, so please look at the details of each audition. The department’s holding auditions are:

🎨 PAINTING
🗡️ PROPS
🪚 CONSTRUCTION
💄 HAIR & MAKEUP

No experience is needed! Please show up with whatever the auditions requires your bring. Each department is different! You are more than welcome to audition for more than one area, just notify the team leads in case their is overlap with the audition times.

Teams will be announced later that same week! If you make a team, then you will need to be present in the PAC from 3:30-5:30 every Wednesday!

Suite Surrender has nine incredibly hilarious characters to audition for! Use these breakdowns to help you decide on the perfect audition monologue! 🎥

Kickapoo Theatre is holding auditions for our fall play, Suite Surrender! 🏨🌴

Suite Surrender is a comedic play about two feeding Hollywood divas who accidentally get booked in the same hotel room. This is hilarious play is open to all freshmen through seniors interested in theatre, no matter the experience! 🎬

Auditions will take place onMonday, August 31st at 3:30 pm & Tuesday, September 1st at 3:30 pm. You only need to come to one!Audition Sign-In for both days will be in the PAC Lobby. Please prepare 30 sec - 1 min COMEDIC monologue to perform for our directing team! 🎭
