As part of our Civic Engagement Series, we toured the Ozarks Lyric Opera!🎭 Network members learned the Opera's history, explored the historic Gillioz and its third floor hub of local non-profits, and capped off the night with a dress rehearsal of Rossini's Cinderella.

As we head into Q4, we wanted to share a quick update on what we have been up to.😊 2026 has been a record breaking year for The Network! 🎉 We've welcomed 140 new members - almost double what we welcomed last year - and hosted 23 events, more than half of which sold out or hit capacity. Numbers like these don't happen without an incredible community behind them. Thank you to every YP who has showed up, connected, and helped The Network grow this year. Here's to an even bigger 2027!

What happens when you bring 70 young professionals to a cave? A LOT of learning (and lot of talk about cheese).
Yesterday, The Network went underground, literally, for a tour of the Springfield Underground with the Erlen Group. We dug into crushed rock, cheese storage, economic development, and rail logistics, and came away seriously impressed by how much of Springfield’s business ecosystem runs on what’s beneath our feet (again, literally).

Last week, we put the Springfield Area Chamber Board and Leadership Council members on the spot with a silly icebreaker question. 🤭 In addition to getting a year long mentor, Leadership Council members have the opportunity to participate in roundtable lunches with these community leaders, where they can share insights on what it’s like being a YP in the Springfield area. They also get practical advice from our Board members, creating a feedback loop between the two groups.
