Our Pet in the Spotlight for the month of September is Basil! Or Meatball as his mom calls him.

Basil is a 5 month little guy who started seeing us when he was just a couple months old. He has been so brave at all of his appointments and quickly became a fan favorite.

He likes to sit like a human in chairs and fall asleep!! He is so sweet and we love him so much!

Today is World Rabies Day. Prevention in the spread of this deadly viral disease relies on the help of individuals and their communities as well as education by veterinary professionals.

As World Rabies Day turns 20, CDC data show threat persists September 28 marks the 20th annual World Rabies Day. This year’s theme is "Stronger Together," highlighting that rabies elimination is only possible when everyone works together, according to World Rabies Day coordinator Global Alliance for Rabies Control.

September is Animal Pain Awareness month.

For a lot of our pain patients, we tend to see them once they have developed lameness or severe mobility changes.

However, sometimes you can see changes before they become severe. When caught early, we can potentially get patients on a regimen that can delay osteoarthritic changes and certainly help with pain management.
