Our programs prepare students to become expert practitioners in a high-demand field. https://taplink.cc/mostate.ot

The mission of the Occupational Therapy Department at Missouri State University is to educate holistic, reflective occupational therapy practitioners who understand the complexity of occupation and value its role in the promotion of health and wellness. Didactic and experiential learning will promote occupation-based practice, ethical leadership, community engagement, cultural humility, scientific inquiry, and life-long learning to develop generalist practitioners who are prepared to meet the needs of persons, groups, and populations across a variety of settings, including those in rural and underserved communities.

Our faculty were all over the map last week!

📍Drs. Cardin and Garrison visited College of the Ozarks to share program information with students interested in Allied Health. Dr. Cardin admired a Grandma's Flower Garden quilt; if you know, you know.
📍Drs. Boehne and Myrick attended the American Occupational Therapy Association - AOTA Mental Health Specialty Conference in Illinois. Fun fact: they attended sessions on World Mental Health Day.
📍Dr. Cardin ran into several alumni at the SOS Approach To Feeding conference in Arkansas.
