Bourgeois Guitars and I have been working on a custom guitar for the future, and ever since I was a little girl I’ve absolutely loved Gibson SJs.

A few weeks ago, I got a text saying they had one available if I’d like to play it until my custom is finished. Needless to say… I said ABSOLUTELY.

This one will eventually be for sale, but until then I’m going to hole up with it for a while and see what kind of songs it inspires. There’s just something about a new guitar for writers.

If you’ve been looking for a new instrument, I truly can’t recommend Bourgeois enough. Not only do they build the finest instruments I’ve ever played, but they’re some of my favorite people too.
