Springfield Mason Square Community Start Day!

Join us for CityStart Mason Square Community Day. The free public event is taking place Friday, September 18, 2026 at Ben Swan Way/Mason Square.

With a special sidewalk art installation called “Chalk for Change," along with free backpacks, school supplies, giveaways, resources, a DJ, food trucks, merchant vendors, activity tables, resources, raffles, and a financial empowerment survey that will help us further assess the financial woes that are affecting the citizens of Springfield - its going to be a great day for the community.

And while you’re there, make your voice heard through CityStart. Your experiences and ideas will help inform the work underway to strengthen financial empowerment and opportunity in Mason Square.
