I think the biggest challenge for artists (in general and right now) is staying curious and playful when we’re disillusioned with the world. We’re so saturated, it can be difficult to slow down long enough to daydream anymore.
I’m grateful for slow time this summer to reengage with life after a long season of disconnect. I’ve found so much joy in my practice and my mind through slow mornings and still moments.
Carrying this with me as I settle back in to my daily routine and keeping those push notifications turned off indefinitely ✌️

I’ve been paying more attention to architecture as I travel lately and all the little bits of personality, history, and work goes into every detail.
I love how much color is used everywhere in Argentina and all of the European architectural design influence. Did you know there’s a French quarter in San Telmo? Good history lessons, great fodder for sketching 🤓 🏠

I’ve been waiting to get this piece on a wall for years and I’m so happy the stars aligned on this one during my time at Buenos Aires Art Residency 💗💗
I threw this up in just a few hours with no grid and a new brand of cans and caps I didn’t know well, but I think it challenged me to let go of perfection and just work from the heart. It felt so so good. Big love to M A D C I N S A R T for the trust.
Heart is full ❤️ 🙏
