Beyond obsessed with this engagement session! We squeezed in a little greenhouse magic at Schaffitzel's Flowers before they closed, and I couldn't be happier with how these turned out.

For the first time since I started photography, it has officially paid for a gear upgrade!

With the money from the car shoots I’ve been doing, I was able to buy some really nice RGB lights. I tested them out for the first time today, and of course, I had to use the cutest models ever!

I took way too many photos of them, but I thoroughly enjoyed trying out all the different color combinations, and the boys definitely enjoyed getting some extra treats.

I still have a LOT to learn about using these lights, but I’m so happy to have the upgrade and the option to get a little more creative with some of my shoots. It might seem like a small thing, but I’m genuinely so thankful for the opportunities and people that have led me here and for the ability to keep growing my passion for photography. I'm excited to see where this next step takes me and what I can create with them.

Had so much fun photographing this beautiful Camaro! The colors, the scenery, and that sunset made for such a fun shoot.

One of my favorite herons is the Green Heron. While on the White River in Arkansas, I had the opportunity to sit and watch one catch small fish and crawdads around a little gravel bar. Definitely some of my favorite photos of one I’ve taken so far!

There's just something about a good black and white photo that feels different; more emotional.

I had so much fun photographing this Subaru Baja! It's one of the most unique trucks I've ever seen, and the vibrant yellow was perfect for a golden hour photoshoot

I finally had the chance to photograph the doe and her fawns that have been hanging around Springfield Lake for the past few weeks. Mom wasn't too happy about me being nearby at first, but after deciding I wasn't a threat, she went back to grazing while keeping a close eye on me.

I stumbled across a Killdeer nesting spot where two chicks scurried about, chasing tiny insects, as one parent kept a watchful eye.

I spent a few hours sitting by a patch of flowers near Springfield Lake, and here are a few of my favorite photos.
