The Springfield community has witnessed some horrendous violence this week, including a hit-and-run just blocks away from the church that claimed the life of a beloved neighbor and left his dear wife critically injured. We wait, heartbroken, for the name of the victim of the stabbing at Gateway.

God of mercy, receive those who have died.
Surround those who mourn with your love.
Bring healing to those who are injured.
Give courage and wisdom to those seeking answers.
And make us, as your people, agents of peace, compassion, and care in our community.

We've got take-n-bake Willamette Valley Pie Co. pies at Wesley UMC (1385 Oakway in Eugene) today from 3 to 5 pm — cherry crumble, caramel apple, and marionberry. Grab a delicious pie for $20 and help us provide camperships for our joint Labor Day retreat :)

Just a heads up for AARP Tax Aide clients — there will be no Tax Aide services on Friday, April 3rd. The volunteers will be back in action on Tuesday, April 7th.

The church office will be closed on Friday, March 20. We'll also have limited coverage over Spring Break (March 23-27), so please call ahead or send us an email at [email protected] if you need to get in touch.
