If you joined us for South Side in Bloom, you already know that Jene’ knows how to get the crowd moving! 🔥

After seeing the energy and FUN she brought to Dorothy Bacon Memorial Park, we knew we had to keep it going!

Now, Jene’ is bringing her line-dancing skills to Sully Jaymes Memorial Park for two community fitness sessions.

It’s almost time to step, slide, and shine at Sully Jaymes Memorial Park!

Join us for our first Line Dance Session on Saturday, October 3 from 11 AM–12 PM. Whether you’re already a line-dancing pro or just looking for a fun way to get moving, all skill levels are welcome!

This free community fitness activity is made possible with support from Community Health Foundation and Crabill Family Foundation. We’re grateful for their investment in creating more opportunities for neighbors to get active, have fun, and enjoy our community spaces.

What started with two friends, a simple idea, and a love for community grew into something much bigger than we could have imagined. From those first conversations about getting books into the hands of children to the work we’re doing today, this has truly been a journey.

And to everyone who has been with us from the beginning—thank you.❤️ Whether you donated a book, volunteered, opened your doors to a literacy program, supported an event, shared our work, or simply believed in what we were building, you are part of this story.

Now, we get to share that story with a new generation of Community Champions. 📖✨
