Quick reminder: if you're ever in a mental health crisis — or you're worried about someone else — you can call or text 988 anytime. Day or night.

It's not just for suicidal thoughts. It's for anyone who is overwhelmed, struggling, or just needs to talk to someone right now.

You don't have to be at your worst to deserve support. You just have to be human. 💙

In this week's Better Life in Recovery Podcast, we dive into the first agreement from The Four Agreements: "Be Impeccable With Your Word."

We talk about:

Today is International Self-Care Day — and we want to make sure we're talking about self-care in a way that actually makes sense for real life.

Self-care in recovery isn't always bubble baths and journaling (though those count!). It can be:

✅ Going to a meeting
✅ Calling your sponsor or a friend
✅ Drinking water and eating something real
✅ Getting some sleep
✅ Asking for help when you need it

What does self-care look like for you? 👇

Tomorrow is National Self-Care Day! What is one thing you can do to take care of yourself when life feels overwhelming? Maybe your idea will inspire someone else on their journey!!

In recovery, always remember self-care isn't selfish. It's part of healing. Any self-care plans for this weekend?

As BIPOC Mental Health Month winds down, we want to say this simply:

The unique challenges that communities of color face — in mental health, in recovery, in accessing care — are real. They are not imagined. And they deserve to be named, addressed, and met with real support.

We see you. We're committed to being a space of genuine welcome for every person in our community, every single day — not just in July. 💜

07/20/2026

Something we want every person in our community to hear this week:

You are worth taking care of.

Not when you've earned it. Not when you've proven yourself. Not after you've fixed everything. Right now, as you are.

Recovery starts with believing that. We believe it about you — even on the days when you can't. 💙
