👻Halloween is coming early to the Brightspeed Ice Park! 🎃
Join us on Saturday Oct. 3rd from 3:15-5pm! Come dressed up and ready to have some fun! There will be mini games, prizes, and of course, candy! We hope to see you there!

The weeks Athlete of the Week, is Elaina Bowden a competitive figure skater at Brightspeed Ice Park. Elaina consistently demonstrates exceptional effort in every practice, while also bringing a positive attitude that is impossible not to notice. She is always encouraging her teammates, celebrating successes, while also helping create the most positive and supportive team environment. Elaina's dedication, sportsmanship and enthusiasm for skating shines through everyday, making her a wonderful representative of our skating community.

In partnership with Children's Mercy and Mercy Hospital Springfield, the Springfield-Greene County Park Board, is excited to bring a new, bi-weekly campaign that highlights local youth athletes in Parks!

College Hockey Info for the 26/27 Season:
Are you ready for the 26/27 College Hockey Season!!! Please see below for info concerning games hosted at Brightspeed Ice Park.

For all spectators who attend Missouri State Ice Hockey, Drury University Ice Hockey ,Missouri State Division III Hockey , Drury University ACHA M3 Hockey please note the following changes for the upcoming season:
1) All College Hockey spectators are asked to enter the facility through the EAST ENTRANCE for all games. Please see attached map of where the East Entrance is. We are hoping this will eliminate the confusion and congestion at the West Entrance.
1A) Tickets: The East Entrance is where ticket sales happen for MSU D1 games. MSU D3 tickets will be sold at the East Rink Entrance and all Drury games are going to ticketless purchase, please see their page for this information.
a) The West entrance is for players, team staff, ADA customers and Public Skate Customers ONLY please.
2) Parking - please feel free to use the JV Park and Ice Park parking lot, but again college game spectators will need to use the EAST ENTRANCE. Which is up the sidewalk per the map below.
2B) if the lot is full, there is a paid parking garage across from the East Entrance. Typically the cost is $10.
2C) DO NOT park in the Expo lot or Shrine lot across the street. You will be towed at your expense.
3) Ticket Information: Please see the pages for the respective college teams for their ticket info, prices and how to purchase, blue links above. If you have questions concerning tickets, please see their pages and/or message them through their Facebook.
