Fall Music Classes Start Next Week!

There is still time to make music part of your family’s fall. Our new semester begins the week of September 14, with classes and lessons for students from babies through adults.

At The Music Factory, students can grow with music at every age and stage:

· Musikgarten music & movement for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary-age children
· Music classes that build true musical literacy and prepare children for future instrumental study
· Group piano for young musicians
· Art classes for ages 3.5 to 9
· Private lessons in piano, voice, harp, ukulele, and band instruments, ages 6 through adults

Whether your little one is discovering music for the very first time or your older child is ready to develop their skills on an instrument, fall is a great time to begin!

Classes start next week, and spaces are still available in select classes and lesson times.

Fall enrollment is open for private music lessons at The Music Factory! With one-on-one instruction, lessons are tailored to each student’s age, experience, interests, and musical goals.

Private lessons are available for ages 6 through adults in:

• Piano
• Voice
• Harp
• Ukulele
• Band instruments

Beginners are welcome, as well as students who already play and want to strengthen their technique, expand their repertoire, prepare for school music programs or performances, or continue progressing with individualized instruction.

Springfield IL: Monday through Thursday, daytime and evening

Give your child a place to create, experiment, and let their imagination take the lead this fall!

Art Exploration classes at The Music Factory are designed for young artists ages 3½ to 9. Students will explore a variety of art materials, techniques, colors, textures, and creative projects while developing their own ideas and artistic confidence.

At this age, art is about so much more than making something to take home. Children learn to make choices, solve problems, try new things, develop fine motor skills, and discover just how much they can create when they're given the tools and encouragement to explore.

Projects are age-appropriate and designed to be fun and engaging for both preschool and elementary-age artists. No previous art experience is needed - just bring your creativity and be ready to make some art!

Preschoolers are ready to do so much with music! Our Precocious Preschoolers class gives children ages 3.5–5 a joyful, hands-on way to sing, move, listen, play instruments, and explore the musical world around them.

Through age-appropriate music and movement activities, children develop:

· A strong sense of rhythm and pitch
· Listening and musical awareness
· Language and communication skills
· Coordination, balance, and body awareness
· Creativity and confidence
· Social skills and the ability to make music with others

Our classes build real musical foundations while keeping learning playful, active, and engaging. Children aren't just learning songs - they are developing the skills that support future musical learning and a lifelong love of music.

The Music Factory

Toddlers are natural musicians! Our Musikgarten classes give young children ages 1.5 through 3.5 a joyful place to sing, move, dance, play instruments, and explore music together with a grown-up.

Through music and movement, children develop important early skills including:

· Language and communication
· Rhythm and pitch awareness
· Balance and coordination
· Listening and attention
· Social skills and confidence
· A growing love of music

Each class combines singing, movement, instruments, and playful musical experiences that are designed specifically for this stage of development.
