I’m the photographer you hire when you want more than “pictures.” As a portrait artist, I create poised, flattering, and intentional images with an understanding of quality lighting. I've been capturing meaningful moments for families for over three decades - children, family, graduation, engagements, and weddings - just to name a few. Based in Missouri, I love creating

Being a baby and child photographer was my speciality for nearly 20 years. Although I stepped away for the past decade to pursue other work, it was such a blessing to photograph Ruthie today. Not only did it bring back the joy I have always feel working with babies and children, knowing how these photos will forever embrace this very special time of her babyhood. Especially since I photographed her Mommy when she was a child! Oh the fun we are going to have as we capture this upcoming year for their baby plan and album.

First let me say THANK YOU to those who have donated to me directly and through my GoFundMe. It's literally a blessing to be alive after my accident, and to be recovering so swiftly. My road burns are nearly gone, and last night I was able to roll over to my side for a little bit. I can still feel the fluid buildup and 'pressure burn' in my muscles but it's decreasing. I am able to drive (woo hoo) and my range of motion is slowly returning to my leg. It still hurts but I can feel it getting stronger too. Seriously, I am not a person that asks for help so doing this GoFundMe is completely out of my comfort zone. Yet, every penny has genuinely helped get back on my feet especially at the beginning of the month. It feels so good to return to work, slowly I will get there and looking around I greatly appreciate all the prayers and help. Mucho Love ❤️

Since my accident people have been asking if there is anything they could do for me. Honestly, having a little help making ends meet is the biggest battle I am facing right now. Alec suggested I make a GoFundMe request, although asking for help is not something I would normally do, I see his point. Sometimes people want to help even if it's just sending $20 to lighten my load. I already shared the GoFundMe link, but here is my tip jar that I use at events if you would prefer to send help directly. I'm trying not to let this slow me down, and I am recovering. It simply takes time. Again, thanks for your support and kindness during this time.

I was talking to my son that the next few months are going to be pretty lean as my accident has interrupted my ability to work. He convinced me to start a GoFundMe campaign because it could help us. I am so grateful for all the get well wishes, gifts, and encouragement I have received thus far. This accident albeit painful and unfortunate, I'm simply happy to still be alive as this could have been far far worse. Thank you to everyone for your continued support. Mucho Love! ❤️

Last Friday afternoon, I got hit while riding my bike by a truck at Fort and Sunset on the Greenway trail. I am very happy to report that I am ok considering the impact of being hit by a vehicle going about 20 mph. I’m certainly banged up a bit with a few bruises and scrapes but my left knee got the worst of it. I’m going to be in crutches for a few weeks. But!!! No head, neck, back, or spine injuries. I have to say that I am feeling very, very blessed right now. I’m being well looked after and comfortable working from home. It’s unfortunate that the accident happened but again, I’m so very grateful that I have walked away from it.
