I.F.L.A.A.O envisions a community where we respond to the needs of the youth we serve with respect and hope. We provide youth and families with the resources, tools and attitudes to realize their dreams can come true. Our organization teaches today’s youth and families to share their encounters they have had during a time in their lives, overcoming and conquering life issues on our local television talk show. This platform encourages and seeks guests that are willing to share their experiences and struggles. I Found Light Against All Odds has devoted its time and passion to ensure, that our youth address their social, emotional, and economic issues, that today’s youth and families are experiencing. I.F.L.A.A.O vision is to aid communities by designing and implementing programs addressing social and economic issues, while educating children on a variety of subjects, including but not limited to, violence, violence prevention, effective study habits, healthy nutrition, and productive extracurricular activities. But even with the success of our organization’s efforts there still is an obstacle in which we have found a solution, the I.F.L.A.A.O Scholarship Initiative. A project that will prolong the success of I.F.L.A.A.O providing scholarship funds to prior at-risk students that were once in darkness and found light in education.

Join us on Saturday, June 27, 2026, for the 9th Annual I Found Light Against All Odds Golf Tournament at Franconia Golf Course in Springfield, MA.
This tournament is about more than golf. Every dollar raised helps support young women ages 18–20 who are homeless or housing insecure, providing opportunities for education, workforce development, mentorship, mental health services, and life skills that help them build independent and successful futures.

🏀 SUPPORTING OUR YOUTH, ONE OPPORTUNITY AT A TIME! 🏀
This summer, let’s invest in the next generation of leaders, athletes, and changemakers. The Travis Best Foundation’s “Best in the City” Basketball Camp is providing a FREE basketball camp for boys and girls ages 11–17 right here in Springfield!
More than basketball, this camp focuses on:
✅ Skills Development
✅ Confidence Building
✅ Leadership
✅ Legacy
Young people will have the opportunity to learn from former NBA standout Travis Best while building teamwork, discipline, and character both on and off the court.

Join us as we celebrate and honor incredible young people from the Fresh Start Program at the High School of Science & Technology, the Medical Assistant Program, and students continuing their educational journeys through Holyoke Community College and Westfield State University.
This special evening will also include the presentation of 11 scholarships totaling $6,000 to deserving students throughout Western Massachusetts.
At I Found Light Against All Odds, we believe that when given an opportunity, young people can overcome obstacles, break cycles, and find the light within themselves.

What an incredible night of community, generosity, and women making a difference! Because of the dedication and passion of our Impactful Women bartenders and supporters, we raised over $13,000 to support the mission of I Found Light Against All Odds and our Lighthouse initiative for young women experiencing housing insecurity.

At I Found Light Against All Odds, our mission is to create a safe and supportive Lighthouse Home for young women ages 18–20 who are housing insecure, giving them access to education, mentorship, and a pathway toward independence.
