Congratulations to Dr. Tate for being awarded a Flanagan Grant from the Virginia Council of Teachers of Mathematics! The funds will go directly towards connecting data literacy to field trips for Rolling Valley students. 😀

Today we recognize Juneteenth, a celebration and commemoration of the end of slavery in the United States. Also known as Emancipation Day or Freedom Day, Juneteenth marks a day in 1865 when enslaved Texans learned they would be free, two months after the end of the Civil War and two and a half years after President Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation.

Congratulations to Mrs. Cooke on her retirement! 35 years of service with the last 18 years at Rolling Valley. Enjoy your retirement!!!

Congratulations to ALL of our students on the completion of a successful school year! We ended our year celebrating our students in grades 3-5 during a special assembly. Congratulations to all for your achievements and accomplishments.
