Thank you to everyone who showed us incredible grace and understanding when we had to postpone our Staff Picks screening of In the Mood for Love last night. Your patience reminded us just how special the Moxie community is. We're happy to announce that In the Mood for Love has been rescheduled for Friday, August 7 at 7:00 PM.
If you purchased tickets for the canceled screening, your seat will be honored for the new date. If you aren't able to attend on August 7, we'll gladly exchange your tickets for passes to another Moxie screening or refund purchases. The latest from New Q***r Cinema pioneer Gregg Araki (THE DOOM GENERATION, NOWHERE, MYSTERIOUS SKIN, ), I WANT YOUR S*X tells the story of Elliot (Cooper Hoffman), a kind-hearted if unmotivated twentysomething whose fantasies quickly come true when he lands a job with renowned artist and provocateur Erika Tracy (Olivia Wilde). When Erika breaks down office boundaries and takes Elliot on as her sexual muse and subordinate, their sexually charged relationship makes him question his own desires, boundaries, and relationships with his uptight girlfriend (Charli XCX) and repressed roommate (Chase Sui Wonders). As the stakes heighten and power dynamics shift, the film mixes satire, romantic comedy, mystery, and murder through the colorful and edgy visual language for which Araki is best known. (R, 90 min.)

"I love being part of a community of cool artsy people!"

What is your favorite Moxie memory?
"One of the first shifts I worked (with Zaida! ❤️) was our free Moxie Flix showing of the Wizard of Oz. It got super hectic but it was fun to just be thrown in the deep end, I felt like I was in The Bear!"
