Our next Day in the Life features Antwan Terrell ’26, from Springfield, Ohio. A recent Wittenberg graduate in theatre and dance and educational studies, Antwan is spending the summer as the Community Advocacy Intern at Project Woman, supporting outreach and advocacy for survivors in Clark County. Follow along for a look at how he’s making an impact in the community.
Kevin Rose '03, noted area historian, humanist, curator, and community advocate, currently serves as the executive director of the Hartman Rock Garden in Springfield and as the historian for the Turner Foundation, a position he has held for more than two decades. Knowing Myers Hall's distinct story, Kevin takes time to discuss the "original Wittenberg," as the Restore the Red campaign continues. One month until classes begin, and we can’t wait to welcome our Tigers back on campus for the start of 2026-27 academic year.
“For all my life, I wanted to see the world, but specifically Germany. When I found out Witt had this trip, I knew I had to come here,” said recent graduate Andon Peacock ‘26 of New Richmond, Ohio. Nearing the finish line! We are now 89% of the way toward our $250,000 goal to paint Myers Hall its cherished red color and return its iconic cupola to prominence. Jim Donnellon ’79 shares why he chose to support this alumni-driven effort:
“First, Myers Hall was my dormitory freshmen year, so it holds a special place for me. I have many great memories. I think Restore the Red is important as Myers Hall is representative of the University. It prominently sits at the top of the entrance of the University. Currently the building is faded, tired, and timeworn. I think restoring Myers sends a message that Wittenberg will survive the current challenges of small liberal arts colleges. Restoring Myers personally gives me hope.”
