🚚 Love to drive? Drive with purpose.

Rachel's Table is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help drive our truck and delivery van, picking up food donations from wholesale and retail donors and delivering them to food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, and community agencies throughout Western Massachusetts.

No special license is required, training is provided, and half-day shifts make it easy to fit volunteering into your schedule. Retirees are especially welcome!

Every mile you drive helps rescue good food that might otherwise go to waste—and gets it into the hands of neighbors who need it most.

Interested? We'd love to hear from you!

Happy Tu B'Av!

Known as the Jewish holiday of love and connection, Tu B'Av celebrates friendship, community, and the joy of the harvest.

Just days after Tisha B'Av, it reminds us that even after times of reflection, hope and renewal can flourish. At Rachel's Table, we see that every day through the kindness of our volunteers, farmers, donors, and partners who come together to nourish our neighbors.

Thank you for showing that love in action—one volunteer hour, one rescued meal, and one act of kindness at a time.

Today, we pause for reflection.

Tisha B'Av is a day of remembrance in the Jewish tradition, inviting us to reflect on loss, resilience, and the importance of caring for one another during difficult times.

As many Jews fast on Tisha B'Av, we're reminded that hunger is a spiritual practice for some—and an unwanted reality for others. At Rachel's Table, that reminder strengthens our commitment to ensuring our neighbors have access to nourishing food with dignity and compassion.

May today inspire us to continue building a stronger, more caring community for all.

🌱 Every harvest has the power to make a difference.

Rachel's Table was recently featured on WWLP-22News's Mass Appeal to highlight one of our favorite ways to fight hunger: gleaning. By working alongside local farmers and dedicated volunteers, we rescue fresh, nutritious produce that might otherwise go unharvested and deliver it to neighbors experiencing food insecurity throughout Western Massachusetts.

Gleaning is a simple act with a lasting impact—and we'd love to have you join us this season!
