Help Give Hope is a not-for-profit, 501 (c) (3) charitable organization. Our mission is to assist needy families, in particular children, in southwest Missouri. Designed initially to provide help during the holiday season, Help Give Hope now offers year-round assistance to children in need.
100% of all donations go directly to the families in need. All donations are private. Help Give Hope receives no governmental assistance. Programs we offer:
Help Give Hope Used Car Program -- Established in 1998, Help Give Hope offers used cars to those in need of transportation. Help Give Hope Christmas Program -- We have currently wrapped up our 2010 Christmas project. If you need assistance this Christmas, please check with Crosslines Holiday Clearinghouse, who start their program assistance on November 29.

Help Give Hope's Christmas Program applications are officially open! 🎄
Every year, we get to walk alongside Ozarks families during the holidays, making sure kids wake up to gifts under the tree, and parents get to experience the joy of Christmas morning without the weight of financial stress. That's the whole point: no family should face the holidays alone.
If your family could use a hand this Christmas, applications are open now. And if you've got a few hours to spare, we always need volunteers to help audit wish lists, wrap gifts, and organize events this season.

People assume our Christmas program is only for families who have nothing. That's actually the biggest misconception out there.
The truth? Most of the families we serve are doing okay. They're working, they're managing, they're taking care of business. But Christmas is different; giving their kids a great holiday could mean debt, financial strain, or going without essentials just to make the season special.
That's where we come in. Our goal isn't to replace what a family can do. It's to make sure no parent has to choose between their child's Christmas morning and their financial stability.
Every family deserves a great holiday, without the hole it can leave behind.

It's because getting a gift under the tree isn't a one-step process; it's a whole-village effort. Here's what happens behind the scenes: families apply online, our team spends the entire month of October doing in-home visits and needs assessments, then we shop for every single gift, wrap it, and get it ready for families to pick up.
Every step is intentional. Every step takes time. And every step is worth it when a child gets to open something picked just for them.
