I'm starting back up community challenges. This request was flamingos! I played around a tiny bit with the idea a couple years back where I would ask my Sunday coffee shop barista for a subject for the day and then go out and capture images around that subject. The last 2 times that I did it, I was challenged with light purple(lilac/lavender), and birds. I got distracted with life and stopped.

With a much needed hardware upgrade, I decided to chase a trend and did the "stretched pixel" trend to break in my new equipment.

Hi, I haven't posted in a while, still alive, but still a ghost. Have some nature.

In many ways, it feels like I'm in a perpetual slow season as an artist. I'm not taking on a lot of gigs, I'm not taking a lot of gigs, I'm not getting a lot of paid gigs, I'm not sellingany art, and a lot of my free time is spent just surviving the 9-5 ,5 days a week. With that all said, my dream as an artist has been fulfilled thos year regardless. I've had 2 of my images make the cover of albums this year alone, and that couldn't make me happier. Let's see if we can make it a third before the year ends.
