The Scenic Avenue Bridge over Wilson’s Creek will close starting Tuesday, Jan. 20 for replacement and improvements. The project replaces the bridge, enhances stormwater management and adds a 10-ft multi-use path, and a 5-ft sidewalk, creating safer access to the Wilson’s Creek Greenway.

The closure is expected to last about four months. Detours will be posted using Sunshine St., Kansas Expy., and Bennett St. Completion is anticipated summer 2026.
