In just under a week, Petersburg goes back in time and celebrates its incredible circus history with a day like no other, full of family fun and entertainment: Petersburg's CIRCUS DAYS!!

Along with all the circus thrills, you can learn about the history of the circus performers who called Petersburg home with the debut of a Circus History Pop-Up Exhibit at the Menard County Historical Society and Museum. Special thanks to Jan Costello and Cathie Smith, grandchildren of circus legends Dan and Kitty Kelly, for their guidance and support with this exhibit.
