Resident Artist Ensemble

Our Story

We are the Resident Artist Ensemble. We have chosen to make Springfield, Missouri our home. Located in the Ozark region of southwest Missouri, Springfield is experiencing exponential growth, accompanied by the ongoing emergence of a culturally rich, artistic community. In relation, we have discovered a need in the region for additional professional, AEA* sponsored, theatre. It is the Resident Artist Ensemble’s philosophy that the arts are a vital ingredient in the development of a vibrant, fiscally sound, community-centered city. In response, we are laying the foundation for a permanent, resident artist ensemble, notably as a means to provide a long-term collaboration of regional professional theatre artists. It is our aim to forge the development of the Resident Artist Ensemble as a long-term fixture in the southwest Missouri region.
