President Christian M. M. Brady has announced that Rev. Dr. Nathan Esala will serve as Wittenberg’s new Matevia University Pastor. Two of our members, Cathy and Stephanie, performed a duet at our service last Sunday, sharing their musical gifts with the rest of the congregation. First Lutheran Church Springfield Ohio First Lutheran Church is an ELCA Lutheran Church located in Springfield Ohio. Traditional worship is held on Sunday mornings at 9:30. We are a downtown church and have been at the same location in Springfield for nearly 200 years. Wittenberg University held its original classes in this facility.
