Aces Fastpitch Stl 27/28

These girls slayed it rt at the last moment! 1st in the state at 16u A in USSSA points and power pts, 4th in the nation in points and 8th in the nation in power pts!!! Every yr brings new challenges and this yr we battled some really severe injuries, but these girls continued to play for each other, every single tournament, had a few guest players help us out here and there, and they absolutely killed it. Ready for the fall season already!

2nd place in the USSSA Great Lakes National Championships…10-2 on the wk…4-1 on Championship Saturday…crawling our way back through the losers bracket with back to back to back to back to back games. There is not a coach more proud of their team, than I am of these girls, for battling all day, and never giving up!

These Aces girls accumulated a record of 67-35 over the fall/spring/summer season, and flat out came to play this yr. I’ve had a lot of great seasons, but btwn the respect for one another, the wins, and the amazing parents, this one was def the best one yet!

Congrats to our #24, Keira Pritchard, for throwing a No-No today, 1st game of bracket!!! Bracket game #2 starts Friday morning, at 9am.

Happy 17th birthday to our #19, Avery DeJohn. This kid is funny, witty, and has one of the best softball IQ’s I’ve ever seen.

Av’s has been a consistent force for us over the last yr, on the mound, maintaining a 3.42 ERA over the spring/summer months, throwing a team high of 98 innings, striking out 65, and only walking 29!!!

She hits her spots, she’s confident, and she’s one of the biggest leaders on this team. Because of this, Av’s has earned herself a spot on the Alliance All Tournament Team this yr, and has been a middle of the lineup hitter for us, hitting 17 2B’s/5 3B’s/3 HR’s, and knocking in 45 RBI’s.

Avery, we are so proud of the player u have become over the last yr, and we can’t wait to see where the next yr will take u! Hope u have an amazing birthday!

Taking the field, one last time this summer, in Peoria, Illinois. These girls are locked in, focused, and ready to play their hearts out. Let’s go Aces!!!

That’s a wrap on our 2026 league season. Love the extra reps mid wk, to reset after the tourney weekends. Congrats to the girls on another $500 cash prize from Chesterfield Athletic association…to use at Nationals! 💜
