Today we remember Ed Cohen, a beloved Springfield photographer whose camera captured countless community moments and preserved the stories of our city. Ed was also a passionate supporter of Blues to Green and the Springfield Jazz & Roots Festival, always lending his talent and encouragement to the local arts community.
Beyond the lens, Ed shared his love of music as the longtime host of a weekly jazz program on WTCC 90.7, introducing listeners to the sounds and spirit of jazz week after week.
Ed's photographs, his voice on the airwaves, and his unwavering support for Springfield's creative community will leave a lasting legacy. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
