Thank you to everyone who came out to Eden Social last week. We had so much fun connecting with our community over amazing BBQ, great music, and our many talented karaoke singers!

A Los Angeles study found that the average public cost for a person experiencing chronic homelessness was $2,897 per month, compared to $605 per month for a similar person living in supportive housing.

That's nearly 5 times higher when someone remains homeless.

Why?

Because when people are forced to live without stable housing, they often rely on costly emergency services, including ambulance rides, emergency room visits, hospital stays, crisis interventions, and law enforcement responses.

Permanent, supportive housing changes that.

When people have a safe place to live and a community that supports them, they are better able to manage their health, access resources, build relationships, and focus on long-term stability instead of daily survival.

At Eden Village, we believe homelessness is not just a housing issue, it's a community issue.

The solution isn't simply providing a roof overhead. It's creating a place where people are known, valued, and connected.

Investing in people doesn't just change lives, it strengthens communities.
