💙 Student of the Game Scholarship — Jerry Schneider 💙

We are proud to introduce the Student of the Game Scholarship, created in honor of Jerry Schneider and his lasting legacy within the volleyball community.

This $500 scholarship recognizes an Apex player in the 16s–18s age divisions who demonstrates a genuine commitment to growth and learning—both on and off the volleyball court.

We’re looking for a student-athlete who embraces challenges, seeks opportunities to improve, and strives to become a better player, teammate, leader, and person.

This scholarship is a meaningful way for Apex to honor Jerry by celebrating the pursuit of growth, development, and excellence that he values.

💙 Servant of the Game Scholarship — Sue Daugherty 💙

We are honored to introduce the Servant of the Game Scholarship, created in honor of Sue Daugherty and the lasting impact she made on the Apex Volleyball Club community.

This $500 scholarship recognizes an Apex player or family in the 12s–15s age divisions who consistently goes above and beyond for their team and those around them. Whether it’s volunteering, helping others, bringing people together, or simply doing the little things when no one is watching—this award celebrates the people who make their teams and our club stronger.

Sue dedicated more than 20 years to serving Club Bear and Apex VBC, and we are proud to honor her legacy by recognizing that same spirit of service in our Apex family.

The application is now available for the 2026-2027 Glen G. Davies Foundation Scholarship. The Glen G. Davies Volleyball Foundation provides financial assistance to junior volleyball players in the HOA Volleyball Region who are experiencing economic hardship.
