Due to road and parking lot paving at the West Springfield Governmental Center, the Helpsy and Purple Glass Recycling bins will be temporarily removed beginning July 31, 2026 and are expected to return at the end of August. Residents will not be able to drop off textiles or glass at this site during construction. Please see below to find other Helpsy and Purple Glass Recycling Bin locations.

ECHO’s Fall Needs

Is the hot weather keeping everyone inside entertaining themselves by going through their closets? Very soon ECHO will be distributing fall and winter clothing, but is asking that donors please hold on to their donations of warm clothing until late August so that they can manage our backlog. They still - and always- need new or gently used kids’ shoes as well as athletic shoes for men in sizes 7, 8 and 9.
