Enjoy a special presentation by Rick Hunter of the Springfield Telescope Makers (Stellafane), who will share stories about Porter’s extraordinary life and lasting contributions to astronomy and exploration.

Porter’s stunning Arctic artwork, engineering vision, and influence on the famous Palomar Telescope continue to inspire generations. This is a rare opportunity to experience his legacy here in his hometown.

Join master potter Andrew Berends for a hands-on two-day Raku Pottery Workshop and discover one of Japan’s most exciting ceramic firing techniques.

Andrew Berends has over 30 years of experience as a professional potter and has exhibited his work internationally. Whether you’re new to pottery or looking to explore a new firing technique, this workshop offers an unforgettable creative experience.
