This Sunday in Wesley Kids — September 6

Due to the holiday weekend, our Sunday schedule will look a little different this week!

Kids Church: 11:00 AM–12:00 PM
Nursery (Ages 0–4): 9:15 AM–12:00 PM
No Sunday School this week

Kids Church will meet as usual during the 11:00 AM service, and our nursery will be available throughout the morning for our littlest friends.

🎶 Join Us Tonight for Throwback Worship Night!

Join us tonight from 6:00–7:30 PM in the Modern Worship Space as our whole church family comes together for a fun Throwback Worship Night!

Be sure to stop by the Kids Ministry booth while you’re there! We’ll have volunteer sign-ups, information about our curriculum and plans for the fall, and plenty of opportunities to learn how you can get involved with Wesley Kids.

Nursery will be available for children ages 0–4 from 5:45–7:30 PM. There will be no other Kids Ministry programming tonight—we’ll all be together enjoying worship as one big church family!

We can’t wait to see you tonight. It’s going to be a wonderful evening together!

Sunday Recap: Samuel Anointed David

This past Sunday, our Wesley Kids learned about Samuel anointing David as the future king of Israel! We discovered that while people often look at what’s on the outside, God looks at the heart. God saw something special in a young shepherd named David and chose him for a big purpose.

Our big question was: Who is our King? Jesus is our King forever, and He rules over the world!

Join us after service today for a brief volunteer meeting to talk about the fall ahead us!

We will meet at Cundiff Hall at 12:15pm today.

We also will have a booth this week at our Worship night on September 2nd to learn more about volunteering 🩷

A blessing from our Wesley Youth for back to school! 🚌📓✏️📚

Today in Wesley Kids we spent some time in 1 Samuel 11–13 and talked about what it looks like to trust God when we’re nervous, unsure, or things don’t go quite how we planned.

Pretty perfect timing as so many of our kids head back to school! 🎒 We reminded them that they don’t have to have everything figured out—God is with them in the new classrooms, new routines, new friendships, and all the big and little things this year brings.

Our big idea: I can trust God wherever this school year takes me.💛
