Our team brought the competition indoors for a volleyball game at our center against the SSAs. A big shoutout to SSA Nicki, who always makes sure to capture all the fun in pictures! 💜💛

Larry visiting his girlfriend Beth 💕 Cute couple!

⭐️💜⭐️ Support can look like helping someone stay connected to the people who matter most. Brooke, a DSP, provided Larry with transportation to make this connection possible.

Donavon, a DSP, spent some time with Donnie at the Clark County Fair back in July! Donnie especially enjoyed playing the small games where you can win stuffed animal prizes, and he even won something special for his Fiancé, Amy! 🧸❤️

And of course, Donnie couldn’t pass up the chance to get his picture taken in jail! 😂🚔

At SRI, support means helping people build independence, enjoy their interests, and make meaningful memories in their community. It’s not about doing things for someone, but being right there alongside them!

🌊☀️ Four days of summer fun in Sandusky!

Amy, Doug, Shayne, Melissa and Mary headed to Sandusky for a four-day getaway in August! They stayed at Kalahari Waterpark and made the most of their time together.

When the rain rolled in, they switched things up with a trip to a museum and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland! 🎸🏛️

Words from Ashley:

My daughter, my nephew, and I have dance parties and learn new dances. I love working with the individuals because they always make me smile and laugh. I love seeing their faces when they accomplish a new task. They always find a way to make the smallest things new and exciting. They have opened my eyes to see the good in everyone even if you are having a bad day. I didn't realize i have learned so more from them in the short time I've been with SRI even though I thought I was showing them new things. But the reality is they have been the ones teaching me all along. I love SRI because it's very family oriented and welcoming to everyone.

Words from SRI:

Ashley, you have worked for us only a short time and already stand out! You communicate effectively and ask questions. You have demonstrated your understanding of teaching independence and not just doing things for them. We appreciate you choosing SRI! Thank you for being you! 🌟💜🌟
