We're turning First Friday upside down! ❤️ 🇱🇧

Maqluba means "upside-down" in Arabic, named for the way ingredients are layered in the pot and then flipped over to serve. It's a Levantine classic with centuries of history, made to gather family and friends around the table.

Starting Friday, October 2, Chef Elie will be serving Maqluba for a limited time during First Friday Art Walk on Historic C-Street, and every First Friday after that through the end of the year (Oct 2, Nov 6, and Dec 4). 🎨

We’re easy to find at the corner of Commercial St and Jefferson Ave, directly across from the historic Jefferson Avenue Footbridge. Just follow the map and come hungry!
