Gerena Community School

What an incredible night at Gerena!

Our Open House was a HUGE success! It was amazing to see our families, students, and educators filling the building, connecting with one another, building relationships, and celebrating what it means to be part of the Gerena community.

A special thank you to everyone who generously donated baked goods for our bake sale. Your support helped make the night even more special!

This is what community looks like families, students, and staff coming together for our kids. We are so proud to be Team Gerena! 🐦‍🔥

A huge THANK YOU to Homeland Insurance for collecting donations to support our Gerena school community! ❤️

We are so grateful to everyone who donated and helped make this event possible. A special thank you to all of our families who came out, showed their support, and spent time with us.

Post 2 of 2 ……more field day fun 🫶🏼

Field Day 2026 was one for the books!

What an incredible day blessed with beautiful weather, endless smiles, and unforgettable memories!

A special thank you to Mr. K and Mrs. Gunn for organizing such an outstanding Field Day. Your hard work and dedication made today a tremendous success for our entire school community.

One of my favorite parts of Field Day is seeing our families come together to cheer on and support our students. Your presence makes these moments even more meaningful. It was also wonderful to welcome back former Gerena graduates who stopped by before heading off to college this fall. Seeing our alumni return reminds us of the strong community we continue to build together.

Thank you to our amazing staff for your energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to making today special for every student. And to our families, thank you for believing in our school and partnering with us to create experiences our children will remember for years to come.

At Gerena, we don’t just build memories, we build community.
