Business owners, patrons, NEPM staffers and board members recently attended the NEPM Corporate Sponsors event held at their main TV studio located at 44 Hampden Street in downtown Springfield. The inaugural event recognizes 8 area businesses who continually support public media [NEPM: WGBY-TV and WFCR-FM]. St. Germain Investment Management was honored to be one of the businesses recognized for supporting public media. Since the impounding of Federal funding, NEPM is pleased to report that they are now, “Community Funded.” The response from current and new supporters of public media in western Massachusetts continues to grow.

There's no substitute like seeing a child's happy face. Children often show and also say what and how they feel. We recently experienced that at Square One in downtown Springfield. Other supporters and businesses alike had the pleasure of giving much needed materials and supplies to the children. Every picture tells a story and none more articulate than a picture of a child.

Neither cold wind or an early snow can slow down our team in New Hampshire. We recently helped with a Toy drive alongside our neighbors on this office campus. Senior Helper--with other business in the arear--have stepped up their donations to help Annie's Angels https://anniesangels.org/home during a toy drive. Jason Irwin, Financial Advisor for St. Germain Investment Management was on hand to help with with the guidance of his son, Leo. Great work you guys!!

We're proud to be supporters for the longest free-to-the-public forum in the country. The Springfield Public Forum is a jewel. It provides us the opportunity to hear experiential qualities and observations offered by a person who has had extensive exposure with a particular discipline, profession, avocation, life experience and so forth.
Springfield Symphony Hall was packed, on the Monday after Thanksgiving no less. Mr. Fareed Zakaria, CNN host, columnist and bestselling author talked about conflicts--revolutions past and present--that have impacted technology, politics, countries etc.
For an hour and a half, Mr. Zakaria held everyone's attention with a candor that allowed us to feel disagreement without being disagreeable.
Our own Ms. Siobahn Matty, financial advisor and board member of the Springfield Public Forum, made introductions to include former MA Senator, Eric Lesser, Esq. He was the moderator, a role he's previously held at other comparable events.

For the past several years, we've proudly sponsored the Junior Achievement of Western Mass Stock Market Challenge. This year, we were at Western New England University and we're all grateful for their hosting this year's event.

When a trading day runs only :60 seconds, you know that the action and anticipation are always on the high-end of expectations!

This year's annual Springfield Museums' fundraising event was a festive success. The theme, Bewitched, brought on elements of mystery, enchantment, intrigue, music, food and more. With Halloween in the air, many guests arrived in costumes more dashing than frightful! All activities took place at the George Walter Vincent Smith Art Museum.

Now, Fall is in the air. We know it and so do the rest of us. Early October, our Stratham, New Hampshire office got involved with the Rockfest Road Race. Featuring a half-marathon and 5k road course, St. Germain left their mark on a variety of events, especially networking opportunities over that first weekend in October.

Things have not slowed down at all, in particular our enthusiasm in golf fund-raising to help with area non-profit agencies and services.. We've met a number of folks, and based on their love-of-life and life stages, it's all quite good, indeed. BTW, in New England, the adage, "if you don't like the weather wait a minute," rings true. One day's summer, the next is fall. Go figure...!

You're not seeing double. There was another YMCA we supported via an annual fundraising golf tournament . This time around it was to help the Greater Springfield Y.
The Twin Hills Country Club in Longmeadow, MA hosted the golfers, sponsors, patrons, friends and staff from the YMCA of Greater Springfield.
