Thank you to Abby Easton, Director of CASA of Clark County, for joining New Carlisle Rotary and sharing the important work of Court Appointed Special Advocates.

CASA volunteers are trained community members who advocate for children involved in the child welfare and court systems, providing a consistent voice as they work toward a safe and permanent home. Volunteers meet with children and families, gather information, attend court proceedings, and make recommendations focused on the child's best interests.

Abby shared that Clark County CASA has served our community since 1989 and still needs volunteers from all walks of life. No professional background is required—CASA provides the training, support, and guidance volunteers need.

We appreciate Abby helping us better understand both the challenges these children and families face and the difference one caring, committed advocate can make.
