Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered 12 Step recovery ministry for everyone. We all have something - any hurt, habit or hang-up! come as you are!
The purpose of Celebrate Recovery is to allow us to become free from life's hurts, hang-ups, and habits. By working through the eight principles of recovery based on the Beatitudes, with Jesus Christ as our Higher Power we can and will change! We will begin to experience the true peace and serenity that we have been seeking. We will no longer need to rely on our dysfunctional, compulsive, and addictive behaviors as a temporary "fix" for our pain. By applying the biblical principles of conviction, conversion, surrender, confession, restitution, prayer, quiet time, witnessing, and helping one another found within the eight principles, we will restore or develop stronger relationships with others and God. Anyone who has a hurt, hang-up, or habit can join us! CR is not restricted to people struggling with an addiction. We all have issues that may be interfering with our fellowship with God and others. Therefore, we all qualify! Join us as we pursue real life in Jesus Christ and celebrate the recovery only He can bring through His people and His word.

FORGIVENESS
Do you need to give or receive or even accept forgiveness? This lesson tackles one of the most challenging yet essential milestones for true healing. The core message is that withholding forgiveness acts as a roadblock that stalls your recovery, while extending and receiving it breaks the cycle of emotional dysfunction and releases you from bitterness, resentment, anger, guilt and shame!

GOOD MORNING!! It is Monday, July 27th!! That means we have Celebrate Recovery at Northside Christian Church tonight!! The lesson this evening during large group is ADMIT. It covers Principle 4 and Step 5, focusing on openly examining and confessing your wrongs to God, yourself, and a trusted person. It teaches that sharing your moral inventory breaks the chains of isolation, pride, and denial to bring true healing. Join us for this blessed evening ❤️
