RIP to the SS Kernel. 🛶 🌽

Our Ag Club members did a fantastic job building a cardboard boat for the boat regatta. Thank you Tim, Dalton, and Landin for your participation and hard work! We may not have won the race but we did win the President’s Choice award! 👏🏻

Our Ag Ambassadors got their steps in today giving Workforce Expo participants tours of the Kreher Ag Center. We loved meeting with many of the students and showcasing our ag program!

We thrive on hands-on learning here at LLCC! ☀️ 🌽

Our crops class loaded up the ag bus and headed to the land lab this morning to check how roots, ear placement, and leaf orientation effect yield. They found that there was a 30 bushel difference on average from the least root mass to most root mass. Students also checked fields for compaction and its effect on root growth. They wrapped up lab by discussing ways to correct these problems.

Some of our student leaders made the trip to Bloomington to attend the Collegiate Farm Bureau Leadership Training. Our group brought back ideas to strengthen our chapter and are ready to take on the year ahead! We will officially kick off Ag Club and Collegiate Farm Bureau on Wednesday at noon here in Kreher with IFB staff present.

National Barrow Show results are in 🥁 🥁🥁

Way to go team! This success would not be possible without all of our friends of the program who offer their farm and livestock up for workouts. We cannot thank you all enough!
